The Eastern Harmony Academy was initially set up in 2001 as a voluntary organisation with the mission of delivering Asian music to the local community.

Members of the group recognised the need to express their Asian musical traditions. They felt young Asians are growing unaware of the rich culture of art and music, that their ethnic group could offer. As a result an original loose association of performers and musicians worked together to develop a local understanding of these traditions. Local academy members and community groups were the initial focus of the work.

We focus on supporting local artists and have regular performances for charities. We have regular voluntary performances on Wednesday and Sundays from 8PM to 12PM at our new base located at:
